[wpsm_tab title=”Description”]The NES Classic Edition is back in stock! But you don’t want to get too excited because you may experience some sticker shock. Currently, if you want to buy one you will have to pay about double the original manufactures suggested retail price of $59.99. If you want a better price (like me) just click the “Price History/Alert” tab, enter your e-mail and desired price and we will notify you when the price drops.
I wouldn’t blame you for buying it at this price though. Just looking at that beautiful 2 tone grey body with red accents brings back happy memories. If you feeling nostalgic for the good old days, when 8 bit graphics was all we needed, this is just the thing for you. However, when it comes to graphics on the NES Classic Edition threes 3 different display options to choose from; a CRT filter mode makes it look just like an old TV (they even included scan lines), the 4:3 mode gives you the original NES game look stretched horizontally to match wide screen TV’s, and finally Pixel Perfect mode displayed each pixel in a perfect square so you see the games exactly as it was designed. Now that’s cool!
